Where am I based for teaching?
Mainly in Ward 107 and Clinic C
Where is the attendance sheet and MCQ paper?
Please sign the attendance sheet every morning at 0900. It is with my secretary Mrs Lesley Stein in Clinic C .
Monday and Friday morning at 0900 you have an MCQ paper which Lesley will hand out to you.
You will have received an email with your timetable for the week, please follow that.
What learning opportunities are there?
Lots!
Ward rounds by on call consultant (every morning, 0900 onwards)
Ward work (shadowing medical staff and colleagues in professions allied to medicine) including physician associates.
Seeing pleural procedures and attending pleural clinic.
Seeing bronchoscopy and following the team.
Attending multiple multi-disciplinary meetings including lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, morbidity and mortality,
Attending multiple clinics (general, interstitial lung disease, cancer, asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, TB)
Regular departmental meetings, notably on a Thursday lunchtime.
